2. Website
Hosting and server log files
The website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you visit, the server stores technically necessary data such as IP address, date and time, the page requested and the browser. This serves the secure operation of the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with STRATO. [CHECK LOG RETENTION PERIOD WITH STRATO]
No cookies, no tracking
The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising services. Fonts are loaded from our own server, not from Google.
Language and chosen design
On your first visit the website shows the English version if your browser is not set to German. When you choose a language or a design at the top, your browser stores this choice in local storage so the page looks the same on your next visit. This information never leaves your device. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
3. App
Data on your device
Dressfolio stores photos, chips, notes and all other content only on your device. There is no user account, we run no server of our own and receive no content from the app.
Backup in Google Drive
If you turn on backup, you sign in with your Google account. Dressfolio stores the backup in an app folder of your Google Drive that only Dressfolio can access. The provider is Google Ireland Ltd. The legal basis is the use of the feature you chose (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).
Weather and location
In the Extended tier and the full version Dressfolio can show the weather. For this, coordinates rounded to two decimal places are sent to Bright Sky (data from Deutscher Wetterdienst) or to MET Norway. The app finds the place either from your approximate location, if you allow it, or from a place name you enter. Place search uses the geocoder of your Android device.
Purchase of the full version
The purchase is handled by Google Play. We only receive confirmation that the full version is unlocked, no payment data.
Ads
In the free tiers Dressfolio shows ads from [AD PROVIDER]. Before the first ad the app asks for your consent to personalised ads (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can change your consent at any time in the app settings. [ADD DETAILS ON THE AD PROVIDER]

4. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent you have given. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg.
